wymberley
Oppo has one which he's had for some 15 years but as yet he hasn't come to grips with the Sat Nav system complexities. Today he has spotted a switch mounted on the near-side wing under the bonnet. This just has to be a bonnet unlocked indicator. However, we've tried various - power on, engine running, etc, etc - conditions but cannot see any cockpit indication and no engine inspection light comes on but have to confess I didn't think to look where one might be as we were trying to find a possible brake fluid leak when we manually operate it; neither can we find any mention of it in the Owners Manual. My gut feeling is that this doesn't seem to be of the usual Mitsubishi engineering standard. Any pointers, please, anyone? I'll pass that on, The engineering - or lack of it - would suggest an after sales mod'. Within the past couple of days he's had a replacement brake servo, etc, unit fitted and I suspected what was dripping down from the sump guard area was lost oil during the disconnect. Coincidentally, this has only shown in the last day and he has now found that the radiator expansion tank - I'm amazed that he knew there was one - he must have finally decided to have a look at the manual - was empty!
