nic
I wonder why so many want a semi auto for fowling? I have had them and did not get on with them... the this shot is often just throwing money away after birds. if you generally use a OU then why not get an OU for fowling? I have seen a ND due to a person not being used to the SA and firing it with a 3rd round still in the gun rather than empty. personally it is the ease of changing cartridges on a OU when geese turn up is a huge advantage Edited September 11 by nic

The advantage of the single sight plane combined with reduced recoil especially with heavy loads is the prime advantages
