LEFTY478
Today's PMQ's was brilliant old style gladitorial politics. Browne's really starting to leak badly, now. The Boy David did well too, with some real nasty, personal attacks on Gordon. But, although I am no fan of the Lib-Dems, or their acting leader, Vince Cable: he won the day with his observation "We have all been interested to see the PM's recent transformation from Stalin, to Mr Bean"

Cranfield
I have to admit I can't understand why the LibDems are having a leadership election, Vince Cable seems far better than both the candidates.
Wookie
I saw Chris Huhme (or however you spell it) on Sky News at lunchtime... He made some really good points, especially the one when asked if he thought that there was a link between donating large sums to Labour and getting an honour. His response was basically that it was just about certain that if you gave Labour a seven figure sum, you'd get a knighthood. As he'd never been sued for defamation, he reckoned he was pretty much spot on (especially given the number of labour peers that have given large sums over the last ten or so years). I reckon so too.
