dustyfox
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMOXuF7iH7s...feature=related Just watching this video, makes me think of my little brother he will soon be in Afganistan fighting the Taliban, and if something happens to him I will get my revenge as it should be me that is there not him as I built to fight and no taliban scare me. But the main thing is that 1000's of soldiers will be spending Christmas in another country far away from there loved ones and in danger of losing their lives to safeguard us from terror, we owe a lot to them and it would be great if pigeonwatch and members did something to praise them like sending them christmas cards. Its got great music to it so watch and liston to it all, I know it is Scottish but we ride together. Many thanks for reading.

LEFTY478
Christmas cards etc is a nice idea, but from experience I can tell you that the only thing a squaddie really wants to receive in the post, is ****-mags and choccy bars. And sometimes, decent socks.

P03
If you get a cardboard shoe box and fill it with goodies royal mail will post it free of charge for you Must be less than 2KG. Please bear in mind that most unsolicited parcels are likely to be destroyed, with a small amount of C4 or a Pigstick, long before they reach anyone stupid enough to open one. Through work (police) we are sending packages to the troops. We have been told no chocolate as of course it melts. I put in baby wipes (non fragrance), copy of VIZ xmas edition, lip slave, sweets, 20 B&H ( if you don’t smoke they are good ice breakers with the locals / local troops) some cigarette papers, rolling tobacco, inflatable football (ASDA) bit of fun, chewing gum, message of goodwill and I few other bits. I’m hoping they will be useful to anyone especially those in the front line patrol bases. Anyone with someone out there know what they really want? or is more useful. Just putting stuff in at the moment thinking on my feet as what I might need/want if I was there.
