casts_by_fly
Hi Guys, Had my visit. I need to have my permission written down, but otherwise we are all go. Land has been surveyed before and is cleared for what I want. Is there a standard issue form where I fill in the blanks and my landowner signs? If not, what all is needed on the form? Thanks, Rick
killerjimbowen
you just need the land owner or person who has the shooting rights to give u a letter sayin, 'so and so has permission to shoot such and such on this land'

markbivvy
I need to have my permission written down. what if the farmer is an old boy who wont sign anything?. thats one of the reasons you dont need permission in writing. ask your shooting organisation. casts_by_fly
mark, The visiting officer asked that I have my first permission written down. Then there is a note on file that shows ability/land to shoot. He said when my cert is granted, it will be a less restricted ticket and include the line "and anywhere else deemed suitable to shoot". After the first one, he said I won't need written permission, but it is always handy to have. Since they are doing me a favor and expediting me a little, I'm not about to complain since the property is 30' from my back porch and the two people who can sign live on either side of me. I've already gotten the form signed and will turn it back in tomorrow (thanks webber). Thanks, Rick
