Bleach with domestic bleach or hydrogen peroxide, then wash and allow to dry, then use a solution of permanganate of potash, this looks weird as it stains the antler purple which fades to brown.

Thanks H,

2 questions, can I get permanganate of potash at the chemist or is it sorced somewhere else?, and how long for the purple to go to brown?
