premierpistol
Hi, I used to fire these out of a post war Diana "gat type" pistol, They were called "Lanes cat slugs" and were no.1 CAL or .175. I could never get normal .177 pellets or darts to fit it but these fit nice and snug. i got my father to sell the gun in 1986 as we could no longer get the ammo for it. I still have the odd empty card box lying around the weapons room, I'll try to send a picture of it if i find it.
Jim McArthur
Whats written/stamped on the side of it mate. Tony the stamp to the right of the 2nd pic says "made in ModerN England" and the edge on the stamp on the top of the 2nd pic says "ModerN" Cheers Might have more collectors' value if it were made in, say, MedievaL England, or RomaN England. Cheers! Jim
