louilester
depends on how much you are paying/ what package you are on mate! BT option 1, up to 8 Mb. Looks like its nowhere near. That is wireless on a lappy. Does that make any difference? It's doubtful that your wireless connection is making any difference to the Broadband speed test. Depending on what your signal strength is and what type of wireless device your using, you would probably be beating that speed from your Laptop to your Wireless router. Usually you'd get about 2-10Mbs, however if you want a real test then use an Ethernet Cable and re-try the test.. I get my broadband from my own company (distributorship), although it sounds like I'm touting for business, they were actually voted by Which Magazine as the best Broadband supplier for Customer service and also voted the best company offering Line Rental and calls in terms of value including customer service. For more info follow my link Utility Warehouse. They can also save money on your mobile phone and even energy bills and give you a single bill for the lot! I'd be happy to assist any PW members to save money of their household or small business bills. Regards, Loui
