SPARKIE
glad you sorted it m8 now be careful peugeots are renown for sucking in water and bending valves did loads of engine rebuilds when i worked for peugeot they would bend the conrod very slightly and lose compression on the cylinder anouther thing to keep an eye on on the hdi is small mmetal particles in the fuel filter houseing its brass from the high pressure fuel pump on the engine due to the timeing belt being too tight this then manages to get through the filter and block the injectors giving sluggish performance and missfire soundslike the engine went into limp home mode usually if the problem clears it will go back to normal after 3 start ups it will reset hope this helps sparkie
