ME
I have decided that our company needs more help with our current web projects. Does anyone know of a website where you can advertise / offer (paid) work experience for Web Design / Web Programming Students. I have done the obvious and trawled Google etc, but I am sure that some of the young guys on here may know where to start looking. I would preferably like someone on a gap year or even just for the summer.
Millomite
Try emailing local uni's www.e4s.co.uk www.justjobs4students.co.uk www.studentjobs4u.co.uk www.activate.co.uk
pin
Contact your local careers advice centre, the local uni / poly / college. If it's just for the summer I'd go down to the local above named and stick up some flyers, if it's paid you'll get some quality geeks who'd be happy to not work in McDonalds for the summer (not that there is anything wrong with that, or that you'd pay more - mores the point!). If you need any help vetting candidates I'd be only too happy to assist
Hardy
Uni's & colleges would be a good place to start, they always need work experience places for students. Most of the Websites are US based so you may not get a lot of local responce, but you could try somewhere like Photoshopcafe
Poacher
A poster in the local university union or careers centre and you'll be swamped with replies....
