this year getting back into ferreting, 2 options 1 geting two young jills in and bringing them on my self, or 2 getting two rescue ferrets, they will be spayed so that cuts out the problem when they come into season,

any one out there use these rescue ferrets, and how do they fare when working them,

any help much apresiated

The common practice within the rescue societies is that they never rehome a ferret that is aggressive, or if they do they certainly tell you it is before giving it to you. I have had 5 rescue ferrets, from kits to adults and they all work well.

Will certainly cut out the work of breeding, or taking them out of season.

FM how old were they when you got old of them, and any bad habbits as in biteing

They reckoned they were both 3 but had no way of knowing. Echo was found dumped in a box and Grace eating from a plate in a pub beer garden. I think Grace was younger and Echo older. I got them 3 years ago now and they are both still going strong.
