BTMS
Laid Barley is when the wind, rain etc has blown it flat so the pigeons can land on it and feeeeeeeeeed. They love it.
Magpies are gay
also with wheat, rape and tall crops like that! But you cant really get at them with a airrifle!
Rob_88
If you have somewhere where you can get under a tree and set up your hide with some decoys just out in front of you its quite likely that they will land in the trees before flying down to the decoys giving you a chance to have a go at them. But I have never tried shooting them with an airgun, just something I have noticed when I have been in a hide.
M ROBSON
The pigeons are out in force up here now. Their on blown Wheat and Barley and just starting on the Rape.
