dieseldave
I am heading of to the game fair i was wondering if one of these would be a good investment. Around here i have mainly crows about 5 crows for every pigeon do they work on both? How much would a decent one cost?
Cranfield
I have never heard of pigeons coming to an owl decoy. They do however, attract crows, magpies and jays (I don,t know about attracting other owls ) I have used one (also a teddy bear with big glass eyes), by fixing it on a fence post next to some woods and shooting the birds that come to mob it. In my experience, you can only do this for about an hour and then the birds get spooked. I think in a, crows/rooks feeding on a field set up, crow/rook decoys would attract the crows/rooks more effectively, all day.
