luckytrigger
If you buy one and get problems its often down to poor extraction or dirty magazines. The mags are easy to clean and a custom extractor is a cheap easy to fit mod which will improve reliability. I use my ruger for vermin control and rely on it completely. njc110381
If it's your only rifle, get a bolt action CZ American with the 16" barrel. Semi autos are ok, I have one myself, but if I had to only have one rifle it would be a bolt action. They're 100% reliable, quieter with a moderator fitted and should be a lot more accurate. I have a .17hmr CZ and a .22lr 10/22, if I could only keep one it would be the CZ every time
