tikkat3lite
hi guys brand new here so forgive me if this has been asked before.I live in southern Ireland and all airguns must have an F.A.C. here so I might as well get a full power. The rifle I,ve been looking at in my local dealer is an FX cutlas, made in sweden .22 cal synthetic stock. I,d never heard of this maker before and am wondering if anyone on here might have information on the gun or better still might own or have used one .I will be trading a cz rimfire .22 for the air rifle so would like something that could take rabbits at a reasonable distance thanks
loopy bunny blaster
FX airguns are brilliant mate, you should have no problem bowling them over past 60 yards if you are a good shot and its an FAC powered gun
Salop Matt
I picked up a .22 FX Cyclone (11.6ftlb) in september and love it am sure you will love yours to ! I know Ben Taylor does some work on some of them !
Dave-G
FAC Cyclone - top drawer stuff. I would'nt swap mine for a basic rimmie.
tikkat3lite
thanks for advice guys the fx looks like a really well made piece of kit and the model I saw has a lever to choose between 3 power levels 14,24,and 34 lbs. also has a fast lever type bolt action . I,ve never had a pcp before so would you recommend a bottle or are the manual pumps a good way to fill
Salop Matt
Depends on what your doing but i would say if you have the facility close by to get a bottle charged then i would get a large bottle ! Far easyer and effortless.
martin1
hi mate, get a pump, if it uses buddy bottle get a bottle but again take into consideration you will need to fill your bottle and have a gun shop near who can do it.. happy hunting with pcp im sure you will enjoy
bullterrier
If you want to keep fit get a pump if you want an easy way of filling your rifle get a bottle, I`ve had both and would say a bottle is best if you don`t need to fill it very often.
