Si-Bore
As title guys. My friend who is multi talented is going to make me one from the original Seeland carousel I have just bought. I just wondered what is the best motor to use? Is a car wiper motor up to the job? It looks like one that is in mine now. If you have any plans etc can you get bact to me. Thanks Si
Cosd
I'm in the process of making one and I have got a wiper motor for now. I think though these are quite hungry in the energy department though. Window motors are probably more efficient and will last longer on an equivilent battery. If you're copying an original this should be better than having plans?!?!?!? I do have some plans somewhere I'll see if I can dig them out. I had a look at them but planning on using my own idea's from what I have seen on the ones for sale. We'll have to compare some pics when done.... Where is the best place to get one and how much? Cheers Si

Cheers Si Go down to the local car scrap yard, you'll get one for peanuts..... ......well he might actually ask for cash but allways worth trying the peanuts first
