squintshot
My old boy warned me today about a new way car thiefs are getting into your cars. The theory is there but not 100% sure if it works. What happens is when you go too lock your car using the Zapper they use a little gadget sold as a toy for blocking TV remote control signals. These devices block the infra red signal from your remote control the same kind of signal used by your cars zapper. So make sure your car is locked either by the beeping or the indicators flashing. Better safe than sorry Squint
lurcherboy
Thats been available for years Squint, but they have to be quite near you for the grabber to work. Don't panic. If they want your wheels there is no alarm or security system that will stop them. Incidently, one of the hardest cars to break into is a Ford Fiesta, or you could just smash the glass. leon
LB, You just bend the top of the door out so you can get your hand in and unlock it, no glass needs to be broken!!!
