gixer1
Can anyone tell me the benefit or why you would need to be able to select which barrel fires first??? some people say it is better to have the bottom barrel fire first as the recoil is less unstabling, would this be accurate? Thanks Garry.
garyb
Different choke in each barrel...
Cosd
Each barrel has a different choke meaning the pellets spread differently. If they stay tighter they travel further, the quicker they spread the lesser the killing distance.

Thanks Garry. although the above applies, as you mentioned the bottom barrel will give less recoil, and is normaly fired more than the top, as to chokes thats choice, the majority of shooters i know with sporting tendancies use both the same tubes. Martin as a side to cosd, the distance the pellets travel is not in question, your needs are the consistancy and density of pattern to target, the further away the target the loser the pattern gets, the point of choke is to restrict that happening, if you used a skeet choke for a target 45-50yds away chances are it would fly throught the pattern, or get hit by a few pellets and not break.
