WGD
Good to see a few generalisations to keep the thread alive. Nothing like a bit of tolerance or common sense - well this response is nothing like it anyway. Re the bikers, there are ********* invlolved in any pastime you care to mention, and usually the minority ruin the reputation of the majority - the same holds true in the various types of sport everyone in this forum is involved in. We moan continually about antis and then this type of attitude demonstrates exactly the same type of anti attitude to another group doing something that makes them happy. I do hope you feel the same desire to "kick the **** out of him" if you're scraping body parts up from outside your lil cottage in your idyllic lil village when one of your half blind, incompetent driving pensioners pulls out in front of somebody enjoying themselves riding, hopefully responsibly and within the speed limit, through your village. artful badger
i'm glad there are people with me on the same wavelength. a very good point made about anti bikers being the same as anti hunt. and the hay chewing ********** that wants to beat on downed motorcyclists, i hope you accidently shoot yourself in the face then have an anti rub your horse **** in it

russuk
Can we not just once have a debate on here without people throwing insults about like churlish little kids. A bit off topic but... Bloody townies pretending to be interested in the country! I live 12 miles from Truro, the only "city" in Cornwall, population 19k!!! I live so far out in the country we comment on 3 cars passing in the same day. I ride a Harley and don't "scream" around the countryside. As mentioned by several posts, hitting a slippery unstable object on 2 wheels is no joke at any speed, even in a straight line. I doubt if you've ever left the town, let alone ridden country lanes on a bike. Stick to subjects you know about. How is the stock market these days?! Anywhere near Rejerrah? tinbum71
Anywhere near Rejerrah? Further up nearer St Agnes, but not a million miles out. If I hit your child after losing control from hitting horse kack at 35mph in a 60mph limit on my 300kg bike I would probably be able to walk away! Let's not get into "anti" behaviour on this site. It's pathetic. Big Noel, well, the name says it all........ Overcompensating me thinks! And sundowner, my 16yr old daughter has to ride her 30mph moped around **** strewn roads every day. Would you kick her to death? You sad, sad little men. You have my pity! Edited February 27, 2008 by tinbum71

Sundowner
well well well, I realise I may have been a little bit too hard in voicing my opinion and also that I should have kept my own council, and I therefore have to eat some humble pie on this one ! However, having (hopefully) made that clear, I still feel that some bike riders who do NOT dare to ride at the same speed in an urban environment, feel that they can get up to speeds ( in a 30 mile zone ) once they are in the countryside ? I still feel it is common sense not to !!!

Let's stick to the main point here, let anyone do what they want as long as it doesn't endanger anyone else. Kack on the road aint good, but foxes being killed by hounds aint bad! Perspective guys! Love to y'all!
