This is the letter that was received yesterday from the Essex Air Ambulance.

 

Thanks to all that donated, the money has gone to help an excellent cause.

It also goes to show you get out of this forum what you put into it. In the short time I've been a member on here I've met some top people and been involved in a couple of charity shoots. It all counts - well done the Watch!!!

What a bloody disgrace the air ambulance has to rely on charitable donations from the public to keep it in service. Looking at their figures it costs roughly £2 million to keep it going each year. A small sum in the grand scale of things, but considering the BILLIONS spent by this government (and to a lesser degree, the lottery fund) on asylum seekers health, housing and welfare, and all their other pet 'diversification' projects, it really is nothing short of a national disgrace.
