Markio
sounds like he got ear mites ?# Or just something stuck in there. Regardless a quick trip to the vet if you're worried, they can have a look inside in the ears easily. We had the same thing although it was a slow shake, the type that said something was irritating so we weren't concerned about him having a fit, the vet had a look, nothing stuck in the ear but very gunky, gave us some drops that sorted it out. If in doubt...

Mrs Sweepy
just been to the vets . they treating it as a ear infection. so sammy now has ear drops for seven days . but if he is still doing it after the seven days we have got to take him back . it could be that he is allergic to something . as this is also a common problem in the breed . if he do the head shaking again . she said it might be a good job to flim it . so they can then see what he is doing and they could then rule some things out . but fingers cross it is just a ear infection . and should be clear up in a few days xxxxsuzy
Chess
Im sure it will sort itself out. My little cocker bith occasionally has the same problem after working where clearly a grass seed or other foreign object has found its way in to the ear but she normally gets rid of it hersrlf without a trip to the vets.
