Great effort Chard Great birds are perigrines sadly dont often see them but was in Scotland last year and about to shoot at a snipe when there was a real noise like paper tearing and a peri tried to nail the snipe from way up but didnt succeed and i didnt even pull the trigger

More likely Sparrowhawk in middle of town, probably a female if it took a pigeon.

I normally start feeding mind the first week in August so there is a good head of duck coming in to the water by september. Feed every day and only shoot the water once a month.

Simmo ive already lost the cross wires but luckily i had 2 spare from the ones my mate destroyed. Got some sillysox aswell but have really yet to be convinced they work any better than standard gear. They do stand out well ill grant you but if no wind not sure about them

Get them from sponser, uk shootwarehouse ( see above ). I have a pair and i agree the action looks great but....they are not the most robust bit of kit i have seen and for the price they need looking after. My mate shot the first pair i had, blew them to smithereens along with a pigeon!!!
