paulh
Hello, new to shooting. Got licence so need to get a gun. What does any one recommend? (Browing Ultra XS / Cynergy or Fabarm Axis) Would welcome any advise. If could tag onto a person / group to gain some experience that would be good. Thx. Suffolk shooter
Paul fill out your profile. Mung if you don't want to answer someones question because they haven't filled out their profile then a polite PM would do. No need to post in such an abrupt manner each time. You along with others on here have bundles of experience and knowledge to impart to newbies, lets stop thinking everybody is a troll and get back to what the forum is supposed to be about, sharing knowledge and views. Rant over. Paul, Just for the record I'd go for the Browning Ultra XS but get yourself into Colchester and go to Radcliffe's on the high street. Speak to Robert Radcliffe and I'm sure he can help you out according to your budget, body size, height and more importantly the type of gun that will suit what you want to shoot. Then if it is live quarry you are after get yourself down to The fenns (Just round the corner from yourself) and get a few lessons in on the clays before attempting live quarry shooting. All the best and who knows may bump into you over there sometime. SS
Markio
Seconded on the Fenns club. Good targets although don't change much. Had a lesson with Tracey myself and she's very good.
