Harnser
Had to use the pigeon shooters friend again today . Yes good old bailing twine .The back door of the disco wouldnt close so had to tie up with blue bailing twine . My last use was as a sling for the .308 when buckle snapped in the field . You would have to be a very foolish or a very brave man to go out into the field without your twine . What have you used it for . Harnser . cappy0766
Being of farming stock I couldnt agree more, it is nearly as useful as oxygen. If you have a pocket knife and a bit of baler twine you can survive ALL that life throws at you!
Baldrick
Like Cappy, having farming in my blood, and working in farming now, I break out in a rash if I'm separated from my stash of baler twine. You'll find that most ex-Forces blokes also swear by gaffer tape. Edited March 13, 2008 by Baldrick
