flash
after sister went for her first time clay shooting, shes decided that she really wants to take it up.(she already does rifle shooting, and has shot a variety of things such as 22, 223, 243, 7.62 and a few others. dad says he will only get a decent 20 bore if i will use it as well, as her(just incase she gives up after a while, which hopefuly she wont). been looking at a few and have seen betensoli diamon brand new for 575. what are these guns like? they look very nice, and the stocks look like good quality wood. also the lincoln premiers. cheers flash
russuk
I have the Betinsolli in 12b. It's as stiff as an Italian nun, and sometimes makes a grinding noise when you break it to eject carts, the engraving is a bit too fancy for my liking, and it's a bit on the heavy side for the shooting I'm doing now. Apart from that it does the trick, and it breaks things if you put it in the right place. I'm looking to get rid and get a lighter gun to suit my shooting needs, but if a high percentage of my shooting was still clays I'd have no hesitation in sticking with it. bob300w
As Russuk says, they are a bit on the basic side, if that is your budget, I would look at a second-hand Beretta or Browning.
Ferret Master
Flash, When I got my 20 bore it was a choice over the Lincoln Premier or a Silver Pigeon. The Silver Pigeon won as the balance and handling felt so much more refined and it fitted me like a glove. FM
GBS
Don't rush it, take you're time finding a good second hand Beretta and you'll never sell it!
