lurcherboy
There is a horse treatment called camarosa or something like that and it works a treat on dogs. I think the company that sells it is in Kent. LB

Pedro
We had a Patterdale, black rough coated one and never had any bother with skin problems. However, we also had a Lakeland type of terrier that was smooth coated and from a young age had what we at first assumed was mites on his nose. This was treated for, but never really went away. Following a horrendous altercation with a badger during which his muzzle was crushed, he went to the vets and was "reconstructed", (£750 flippin quid!). After that his skin went down hill big style. We tried camrosa cream, but it was rubbish TBH, (or possibly didn't treat what he had). It got so bad that in the end he had to be put down 'cos there were lesions all over his skin. I'd get it checked out if I were you and blitz it ASAP. Hardest dog I ever came across old Frank P.
bullterrier
Don`t Patterdales have Bullterrier in their bloodlines, this breed is notorious for skin complaints. My first Bully had demodectic mange, my latest one has had (according to the vets) a mild form of this coupled with skin tumours & an allergy to meadow grass which causes the white fur on his nose & feet to thin out.
