dustyfox
Do CPSA give the same support as BASC when you applying for SGC. I am going to join CPSA this year so I can concentrate on getting a better shot then next year I will join BASC as I want to do my bit to protect the future of shooting. Please no slagging of about these organisations. Thanks DF
Catamong
What sort of "support" are you expecting from the CPSA? Being a CPSA member won't help you become a better shot, only practice does that, and you don't need to be a member to practice. And what "support" do BASC offer in this respect? Cat. Because I had Epilepsy when a toddler I am worried that they may refuse me but I dont think they will its just in case they do. That thing that happened last week is sorted now the boy admitted everything. I want to join because of the Insurence so I can go out and start pigeon shooting and some wildfowling. But now you said that Im not sure what one to go for. Basc is £32 more expensive but their insurence is better. What you think I should join? Catamong
If you're serious about shooting clays in competition, then you need to be a CPSA member. If you're more into Rough Shooting, then BASC's probably more suitable. I'm not sure if either organisation can do much to assist you in getting a SGC, all you've got to do is fill out the form correctly & honestly. Cat. OK thanks, not really interested in competitions, just want to enjoy my sport in a safe way BASC it is then.
clayman
CPSA License support comes from Bob Kibblewhite. Bob is the CPSA honorary adviser in this respect, and gives members written advice on licensing problems. Bob is a retired FL manger.
