maxwell
Hi Guy's I recently came back to the shotgun as the woodpigeon were hammering the rape on one of my permissions and the five or six at a time with my FAC Rapid were not making a big enough dent in numbers to keep the farmer happy. I had a few days out with a pal of mine and tried a few of his guns for fit etc and setled for a semi 2+1, i then had a few setions on the clays to get my eye in, since then i have realy struggeled to be effective with this gun to the point of nearly giving up. This morning plenty of wind so gear ready and away, set my pattern up slightly closer about 30 metres to the centre, (strange)but it just clicked i was not thinking about the shot or the swing/follow through and i had a great time, even when rain started hammering down and i got soaked walking home i had this big grin on my face, 18 pigeons and a crow all i can say is roll on next saturday morning Edited March 30, 2008 by maxwell
