cappy0766
Thinking caps on people! I have .22lr CZ BRNO, but does having a .22 rimfire on my ticket allow me to purchase a .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire in place of my current rifle? PS - I'm still waiting to get my FAC back, newly adorned with .243! Fingers crossed! Steve

Rabbitbowler
yarp like charlie t said you will need to get a variation order on your ticket should not be a problem i have a .22lr and a .22wmr but from wat i can make out after speaking to other shooters you would be better off with a .17wmr...... Steve It does not matter what replies that you receive here, different Police area's have different policies, speak to your FEO/FAO, he is the only one that can answer this one for you. If you have not received your FAC yet, phone HQ and ask them to write 22WMR on your ticket, problem solved.
cappy0766
Cheers gents. I will wait to get my ticket back and sit on it for a while as the .243 will probable steal the thunder for a while anyway. These little .17's do look nasty little beggars, like! CharlieT
Read cappy's post again folks !! He clearly states he already has a .22 BRNO on his ticket therefore to change it to a WMR he would need a variation end of. No if's and buts or speaking to his feo ........he will need a variation to obtain a vacant slot to acquire another firearm.
