Shootingman
My m8 shot his 1st muntie buck yesterday, a cracking head on it, & he's asked me to mount it for him as he's never done it before, well neither have I , at the moment it is merrily boiling away in a boiler in the garage, so my question is HELP . How long should I boil it for, do I wait until every thing falls off or should I be helping the process along after the boiling what do I do next? Cleaning, bleaching etc, any & all help/advise appreciated.
Traztaz
45 mins to 1 hour in the boiler, not crayzeeeee boiling, I take it you skinned it as best as possible beforehand? Then hook it out, let it cool and clean it up, not forgetting to go deep through nasal cavities to get to the brain.
henry d
Add 1/2 hr if you didn`t skin it.
Shootingman
Boiling finished, skull looking OK for 1st attempt, incisors fell out (I assume thats to be expected, will glue them back in), having a slight problem cleaning out the nasal passage, what do you advise.
