Sundowner
We are intending to move to Spain sometime this year and I wonder how GWP cope with heat? I'd hate having to leave him here now that he is spot on! WHen I lived in Spain years ago I had to take a 2 strays to be put down, my guess at the time would have been that they were all "imports" from northern shores! ANy tips, pointers and warnings will be appreciated
new to the flock
Keep him combed out, and give him shade and if needed a kiddies pool of water. He will do fine. I have had some of my Greenland dogs, and Siberian Huskies go to California, and Mexico and they climatized no problem. NTTF
2shots
Friend of mine took two golden retrievers last year (alicante) , talk to him regular and he says no problems, but they took over the pool and the locals wont leave them alone and keep chucking thier leftovers in the yard so both are well washed and well fed
