Andy17
hi all, I am looking at buying a harris bipod at some point this week to fit onto my webley raider, the thing is the gun has no attachment for a bipod, how do i fit the bipod onto the gun??, i understand i have to drill a hole where i want the bipod, but does the bipod come with the stud/screw that i will have to attach the bipod to(if that makes any sense?? lol). If not will my local gun shop be the best place to buy one??, I am going to buy the bipod off of deben website tomorrow, will they sell the stud/screw. thanks in advance to any replys yis andy
apbuild
A 2A stud is the normal attachment for a Harris bi-pod. However, this aattachment will not be any good for an uderlever air rifle. I suggest yo get the necessary info from your local gunsmith/dealer. bennyblanco
hello mate, before you buy a harris take a look at opticswarehouse.com they do a harris copy made by outers and its as good for 2/3s of the cash as for the stud you need to measure how deep the stock is as they come in different lengths (we dont want it poking into the cylinder, do we?) take the stock of when you drill it! sorry but some people dont? apbuild
If you fill in your personal details we would be able to see where abouts you are. Then we could advise where to get one.
Fisherman Mike
Andy Has your raider got a sling on it. The Outers copy of the Harris fixes to the front sling swivel and screws up tight against a pressure pad. There is a sling fixing on the Bipod which you attach the swing to. The outers Bipod is brilliant for the money an exact copy of the Harris for about 30% less dosh.
