The safest thing in front of my shotgun is usually the pigeon I'm aiming at.

Since reading about the 4 B's I've got better  . In the last couple of days I've been playing in the evenings after work, practicing the technique and not being bothered if I wack the pigeons :hmm: . I know its not a lot, but it's good for me  .................. 10 cartridges for 8 pigeons. Not bad for a couple of hours of last feed before roosting. :) :o :hmm::lol:

So thanks for posting guys. it works :good::lol::yes:

The theory about why the 4 B's really works, is that it forces the shooter to take just that little bit more time when taking the shot.

When shooting live quarry, we often have far more time than we think.

Not true, watching others shooting pheasant, they have all of the time in the world, they put the gun leisurely to their shoulders, almost casually swing through, and fire at their leisure, when it's my turn, the birds are traveling at twice the speed of theirs, most are approaching mach 7, and it's panic time!:)

Come to think of it, it's the same with clays! :good:

Aye i missed that one too,

I prefere instint shooting myself i always find myself punching holes in the sky if i think about a shot too much, whereas if i just lift the gun have a quick squnit and bank i seem to hit them :good: bloody weird but it works.
