dazza
I was watching a pigeon shooting dvd and the bloke on it was using fibre glass rods to put shot pigeons on for decoys. I was wondering if anybody else used them or knew where I could get hold of some.

jonno 357
Dazza. I use something similar to the fibre glass rods. They are metpost stakes from B&Q. Basically they are a 5 feet long hollow 11mm steel tube, plastic coated in olive green. They are really strong and can be bent without breaking. I use them on my pigeon magnet and also stake out decoys. They are available in different lengths and diameter. 5feet x11mm ones are £1.70 each Jonno
deny essex
B&Q also do fibreglass rods in white of varying thicknesses in their metal rack, another place is camping shops that sell the fibreglass ferreled tent sticks , like the ones in beach tents , handy for all sorts from small hide poles to decoy pegs.
