reedbradshaw
Talking to my old man yesterday and he was telling me about some of the airrifles he has had "in his day" (hes now 50). After he mentioned the usual makes he said his best one by far was his Feinwerkbau. I my self have never heard of these ( im only 20 ! ) so i did a quick search on google. They now seem to specialise in very expensive target rifles. After telling old man this he said that his was too a target rifle with a "side lever". From what i could gather, this was like a underleaver but on the side of the gun. Anyway, since im after a old springer i can use for target shooting with my old man i might as well get a Feinwerkbau. The main idea being it may get him back in to shooting. so, has any one got a Feinwerkbau? are Feinwerkbau rifles cheap to buy ( the old ones ! ) do Feinwerkbau rifles still operate up to 12lbft ? Sorry about all the topics today everyone ( about 4 now me thinks ! ) but im full of questions today !!
Wookie
A mate of mine has one of their pistols (I think). It's a really quality piece of kit for target shooting.
Jim145
I've never used one, but they've sure got a good reputation. I think they were just about the best you could get in their day. I doubt the old ones will be cheap, probably collectors items now.

Dead-Eyed Duck
Had a couple of Feinwerkbau sports about 20 years or so ago - one in each calibre. Used the 0.177 on pigeon, and 0.22 for rabbits and squizzes. Probably the most accurate break barrel sporters available when they were made. Gavo
I recently sold my FWB 127-Sport in .22 which was about 25 years old for knocking on the £200 mark ... by far one of the best air-fifles I've shot and was deadly accurate even after so many years. tweedledee
i think the hw80 killed the 124/127 as they had fac potential.that saying they are fantastic rifles and are now sought after by collectors.their pcp air pistols command big money and are amongst the best there are, same as the pcp rifles
mikenuts
Just been looking into getting one of the target rifles. The advice I received is that the FWB 300s sells for around £150-£300. Re the power, I believe they are around 6lb so about half the legal limit. Mike
