Just given it a little try in the garden myself and im not sure I could sit on it for a whole day of shooting... Do any of you guys use them, and what do you think tou 'em? Cranfield
I use a shooting stick a lot and find them quite comfortable. The secret is not to sit on them (like a stool), that will hurt eventually. You angle them and lean your backside back on them, it just takes some of the weight off your legs.
Highlander
Not for all day sitting you'll end up with a numb bum! If you're talking pigeon shooting then get a more solid seat. A barrel with a cushion on top works for me. Holds all the kit too. Oh and I don't mean one of those 12" high bits of crappy bucket styles most of the retailers sell (sorry guys).
