Kay
Hi , i have been given a webley Vulcan , it came with 2 barrells but the 22 one is no good , so it has the 177 on it at the min. What i want to know is 1 is it powerfull enough to take a rabbit out clean 2 should i let a gunsmith look at it to see if its safe 3 if the above are ok what sort of scope does it need Thanks in advance

MM
get stuck in Kay. welcome to the forum and ask all the daft questions you can, as this lot will take this **** out of anybody  as said, the .177 is the more acurate barrel, and gives a straight shot. try and do in as much paper as you can, so when you get out there, you know you are going to hit the button
ferretman
take it to a gun shop and get the power tested .then you need to see wot pellets it likes as all rifles air rifles like a sort of pellet better than another.all the best. i also have a rapid 7 in .177 better than .22s by far.
