peter-peter
Today. ben who I coached for a while and myself took grandson jonny, who i am also coaching, to greystone wood. ben is 20 years old and a fair shot, his best at this ground 46/50 the shoot was tricky to say the least 50 birds over 6 stands. heavyish rain and a fair old breeze. I struggled to hit 28/50 but at 68 years old I tend to come and go. ben with 20/20 vision struggled to make 32/50 the lad 15 years old easily wupped us with a fine 42/50 matching my best score on this ground. now here comes the dilemma. when I was his age brought up on a farm I was a crack shot never had a lesson and walked a way with a lot of prizes. but i can see a lot of natural abillity in my grandson. but he is still being coached by his grandad who he beats 30% of the time. I am now thinking he may hit the jackpot with a little further coaching by the likes of john bidwell or carl bloxham. He is just the right age to get among the big prizes. I am wondering if I have taken him as far as I can. being related and that. your views accepted. I do have a good success rate with my trainees. but think this lad could possibly be improved by a top coach.

decroyffe
I've been shooting with David Baines for the last few week now, and he's a crack shot. has for taking lessons, you'd need a week of work. He's got more storys than a libary. and any man who go's into his shop, and comes out with nothing, wants a medal the size of a dustbin lid. By the time he'd done showing me card tricks, telling jokes and storys, i was so confused i bought a pair of boots i didn't need Top Bloke tho
