Millsy
I probably should know this but I dont, so hopefully one of you can put me right. From time to time, I find the fatty layer on a rabbit is a strong yellow colour instead of the normal white. Why is this, and is the meat ok to eat?. Everything else looks ok, ie eyes/ liver/kidneys etc, but I have tended to discard the rabbits when I find this colouring. Cheers Millsy
terrier
Age, nothing to be worry about. EAT them!
bob300w
Possibly also caused by what they eat, as in pheasants and chickens that feed on maize having yellow fat?

Biffo1262
Yup, very likely to be down to what they are eating but if it's just age, as with anything else just make sure it's thoroughly cooked.
