    20 Calibre PCP

I had a Falcon skeleton .20 fac with 22 footpound and I regret the day that I swapped it. Flat trajectory, good impact on the longer distance, really the best of both worlds as they say My favorite rabbit gun it was. Evo there is no need for a big assortiment .20 pellets, you can find your (hunting) pellet of choice in these 3: JSB 13.7grain, H&N Baracuda 13.5grain, or Benjamin Cylindrical .20 cal 14.3gr (<25 yards they are great for rats!)
  2. JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal 18.13 Grains Domed are most accurate in my lonestar at 30 ftpound and in the Career 707 at medium power they flying out at 1000fps and also 1" groupings at 75 meter. Top pellet imo

  4. I had a patriot .25 with a gasstrut couple years ago, and this was a real rabbit stopper! 28ftpd and swapped it for a boring HW90 .22, stil regret it. Very accurate if you take time to get used to it.
  5. I got a couple springers but for rats I always use my trusty HW80k .22, sometimes I wonder why there are these other guns in my rack, because I use this 80k for almost all my shooting, rabbits rats birds whatever...
  6. I use 16 grain Jsb pellets in my .22 (fac)springers (on pigeons in barns and stables) they have the best ballistic coefficient and have flat trajectory. Instant kill most of the time up to 40 yards. Best hunting pellet Imo.
  7. Looks very good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zhs7F3Av9L4#t=19
  8. 28ftlbs, Is that with the powerwheel on max? Mine shoots 55ftlbs right out the box with powerwheel open.
  9. unless you have a 74 ftlbs FX Boss .30 and below the 50m shooting ...
  10. My 97k and 95k are doing 11.7ftlbs and 10.8 ftlbs....
  11. it look's as there's a lot of misunderstanding of me in my post, < is more and > is less?
  12. yeah well, never say never ... let's say 95% of the time they do not penetrate through the pigeon. I also go for head or back shots and try to calculate every obstacle twig or branch on the pellet trajectory, but sometimes its impossible and you have to go for the side or the crop (crop only in the spring and summer) My hunting place is a thick 2Ha birch wood behind the house so there are always a lot of twigs to deal with. I never do the chest shot, with no gun in my airgun cabinet. The trusty old 97k .177 is my ideal compagnon on pigeons.
  13. .177 for feathers, .22 for fur. A golden rule, fac or not. especially for pigeons I always use .177 becouse it penetrates all the time with a heavy and hard pellet (JSB exact heavy or kodiaks/barracuda) and never seen a pellet go right trough the body or head at <12ftlbs
  14. Had a 97k for years - and long before the existence of chrono/chrony's- and it jus did a consistent 9.8ftlbs... I had no idea. It was shooting VERY smooth but what a heap of vermin I killed with it! I live in a country without any power limits, and also own a HW80k .22 with almost 20 ftlbs, that makes a big difference on the longer distances. Its worth to have a fac airgun mate If you want t stick at the <12ftlbs buy yourself a sturdy 97k in .177, flat trajectory and with a heavy pellet as deadly as any other airgun.
  15. Culling big floks of crows with an airgun.... I hope you are a patient man
