I swapped from tpo barrel first to bottom barrel but the problem still happens. Any help appreciated..........

Secondly, either return it and get your money back, or get it into a reputable gunsmith, your gun has a serious fault with the action locking. JRDS
If the gun is newish and stiff then are you sure you are closing it properly?
BlaserF3
It is most likely a weak top lever spring but it could be insufficient bite on the lock up. If you bought from a dealer I'd take it back and let them repair it. If you bought it privately it will not be that expensive to repair.
