[Mrs Sweepy]

My goodness me were has this week gone.

Anyway on Tuesday night i was allowed to go out and be seen with the men in my life.

Now is it just me but when we go out anywhere i always end up walking ten paces behind . And if we bump into anyone sweepy works with . He tells them am his sister who cant drive so he takes me out for the day. (i kid you not).

O dear here i go again wandering .

I shell start again.

Sweepy was one man down for lamping.

So i volunteer to be that man.

We left sweepys homestead at about 7.30 ish. And drove to sweepys main permission Which took about 20mins. We could have got thier in about ten. But we had to go in sweepys old beast the landy.

I can walk faster then that thing

When we arrive sweepy pulled up into the field and jump out .

Little sweepy started to take out the middle seat .While small sweepy was in the back complaining about having to spend the next couple of hours sharing his space with dead things .

And i spent the next five mins trying to fish my knickers out of bum .(why do they make land rovers so bumpy to ride in. )

Next thing i knew we were ready for the off .Sweepy with rifle in hand. And Little Sweepy standing beside me were the middle seat once was . With his head though the sunroof . Big light in hand.

So of we went across the field .It was at this point that i realise i had wasted the last five mins fishing out my big pants . As they were well and truly up my backside and trying to pass them selfs of as a thong

 

We hadnt got far when all of a sudden we can to the stop. And sweepy swang into action (corrrrr my hero)Pop pop pop pop Four bunnies straight off.

 

They were easly to spot as you could see their little bob tails In the lamp light. on we move a few more yards . And once more you heard the thud as sweepys bullet hit its target . to claim the other bunnie sausage.

In all i think we got about six bunnies in that one field.

We then move on to the field that the night before had taunted sweepy with the fox.So we park up and Sweepy got out his bigger rifle (dont ask me what it was. All i know is its alot bigger then his other one.)

Sweepy can round to my side of the landy.And prosition it on the landys bonnet . Little Sweepy was still lamping from the sunroof.

And Small sweepy had started to talk to himself (and answer)Bless him you can tell his my son cant you .

All of the sudden Little Sweepy catches the fox in the light heading up the hill away from us.

Sweepy starts looking down his scope And get it in prosition.

And little old me. Well i had to sit with Little sweepys **** in my face. With Sweepy whispering can you see it suzy can you see it .

We must have sat there for a good 15 to 20 mins. Small sweepy humming to himself . Myself preying that Little Sweepy was not full of wind.

And sweepy focusing on trying to get this fox just that bit closer to us. But unfortnately it was not to be . Old Charlie gets to roam and rule the farm for a little bit longer.But if my Sweepy has anything to do with it .

His card is well and truly marked.

After are encounter with mr fox we still had a few more fields to do.

We also got to see one little owl.About five young deer . And one Mr badger And god know how many hares . who i kept on mistaken for Mr big bunnie (well it was dark out their)And by the end of the evening i was able to tell the differance.

So in total we had a right famliy night out .

 

I did ask small sweepy who was sat in the back all evening and could not see alot. If he got bored . His reply was yes mum . So i ask him why he went along if all he did was sit and get bored. To which his replied was even though he could not take a active role in it . He still enjoy being their and being part of it . I think he sum the way we all feel about are sport nicely dont you.
