Miroku Mike
SUPERB Was doing the same myself, happily with the same result. What cartridges were you using ? I found alot of the non toxic's are not as affective at range. Back in the day ive took out some pearlers at range but now i have rained in a bit. Cheers Mike

ziplex
I was set up last night looking out from a dry ditch over a dozen geese decoys, two mallard came in very low. The one I shot was partly obscured by one of the decoys, the duck went down and was retrieved. When I packed up there were approx eight clean holes in the decoy, (both sides), which was about 30-35 yards out. That was hevi shot so I can vouch for that having some clout....... funky
i can understand the questioning over the distance but i paced it back to where i was and it was 64 long paces. I am using Leyvale 3inch high 36grm No4. when i took the shot Starlight32 was next to me and he said that was a 60 meter shot i did not belive it myself untill i pickup. Anyway i was pleased with it and i can say that i like Wildfowling. all the best to you all.....Funky
Miroku Mike
I too LOVE wildfowling its my fave, the whole anticipation blowing on the old call. Me and my mates laugh like **** at each others calls. Thought my mate was throttling a duck in his hide the other night, did wonder at one stage if he was ******** it

In all fairness I called the shot to funk at 25 yards.....Funky is on it at 50? and down it came. One single pellet to the neck. I walked it out and it was 60 paces. On a more serious note... I gave up my opportunity to shoot on the day so I could take new members on a guided flight. They all shot something and enjoyed my good company but never left a tip :look: As they are pw members I need the entire forum to cast them out with fire and brimstone and such like. My reward? A dented car roof from a hen mallard dropped onto it from a shooter on a neigbouring marsh. And they never even picked it up.
