googlehead1
Hello I was just wondering has anybody had any pervious experience with Mendip shooting ground, they seem to have a good selection of shotguns for sale aswell i was thinking about purchasing off them? They look to have good shooting grounds to try out your new purchase aswell? Cheers James
Macperc
I've been there, its a small shop right next to the shooting ground. They seem nice enough. One things for sure I'd use them every time rather than the jokers at Avalon Guns.
ziplex
I can recommend them, Vernon is a top chap , will always help if he can. Avalon have always been good to deal with too in my book.
njc110381
Thay're pretty good, and the ground is good too. If you can test the gun, take it around the woodland sporting layout. It's my favourite ground
Spaniel
When i was after my first SG they were the only ones to spend time going through all the different guns with me, I also purchased my Escort Semi off them, cant fault them to be honest but never shot at the grounds
JonnyR
I've shot there. Mates of mine are big fans. Arthur is a very nice bloke, very knowledgeable and very not cheap. You get what you pay for. Not sure if it is too far away but Tony Manvell in Swindon at Wilts Rod and Gun is great. You can also try guns up the road at Barbury. Jonny. Devon Fox
I like the place, although not cheap, Arhtur can sell ice to eskimo's, me and my pals watched him sort a beginner clay shooter out ..... the junk they sold him was untrue!
