Macnab
I certainly don't know how to reload. I have man to do that for me. His name is Mr Federal, or sometimes Mrs Norma. I have been through about eighty rounds of 55 gr Soft PointPower Shok in my T3 Lite .223 in the last six months and very happy with the results. It's Federal's budget round but seems to like the rifle. Maybe it's the right weight for the twist? Which makes me wonder why I am about to switch to 40 gr ballistic tip rounds from Federal in V Shok...... You can check out ballistics here http://www.federalpremium.com/products/rifle.aspx Good luck M
pavman
here we go again, hope you dont have as much pain as i did with my .233 T3 lite! most important is the twist rate, they only come into the UK in 8 and 12 if you dont already know the rate, look at the right hand side just under the bolt area at the proof marks, if it has a small 8 its an 8 twist if there is no number stamp its a 12 the 12 takes 40-55 grains at best, the 8 is best with 60-75 grain rounds, I was told mine was 12 but turns out its 8! (how silly do i feel) I now have Hornady TAP 60 grain and first test at 200 yards (started at 100 then 150) gave a 3 inch group slight cross wind to allow for so very happy with that thank you, The federals go very well dependant on quarry, for fox 40 grain ballistic tips fly at 3700 FPS and hit hard from a 12 twist Edgar bross supply trade with Horandy http://www.edgar-brothers.co.uk/ORIGINAL_SITE/html/home.html GMK supply trade with Federal http://www.gmk.co.uk/ both are very helpful and will let you know what dealers have in your area if its a problem (like it is in my area) good luck
magman
the 8 is best with 60-75 grain rounds :look: Mine's a one in 8 twist and will shoot most from 40 grn to 80 grn Infact my favourate load is 55 grn blitzkings shooting less than 1/2 inch at 100 yrds
