DorsetJasper
Evening All, Ive just recently purchased a new shotgun and the stock is a tad to short for me 14 1/4" Can these easily be extended and how? How much would i be looking at if i got a gunsmith to do the job? Any help greatly appreciated Many thanks Borries01
Devon Fox
perhaps an aftermarket recoil pad might do the job?

p-a-s
as far as i know i think you can get different thicknesses of but pad, then maybe get 1 of them rubber slip on gadgets might be worth looking into
Windknot
You can get spacers to go between the pad and stock. Kick-Eez do them to 1/2" which will give you 1 3/8" which will give you up to 1 7/8" extension if used with their thickest pad. http://www.kickeezproducts.com/index.php I have a Kick Eez Sporting Claus 1 1/8" pad on one of my guns- might be worth looking into if you need a bit more than an inch extra. Hmmm- that last sentence sounds suspiciously like those emails I keep getting. Edited October 16, 2008 by Windknot
