vim
A lot of people enjoyed looking at the picture`s i post Buster. Its just the jelous few that spoil it with there silly comments but im man enough to take it As for calling foxes im still a novice compared to some but i dont use a purpose made call just my hand. I do own a Primos Rasper coaxer but i have never had any sucess with using it? The last month or so the foxes have not been so responsive to any type of calling often the educated one`s run like **** as soon as you squeek. The 22/250 is a nice tool for the fox what type do you own.
Aled_cky
The last month or so the foxes have not been so responsive to any type of calling often the educated one`s run like **** as soon as you squeek. yes very true Vim, i went out with my uncle a few weeks ago with a .223 out of 11fox's we saw we only dropped 2.. 3 were shots that had no background but didnt risk it anyone know what it is with them in the past month?? my uncle hadn't gone out for months and as we squeeked they all ran as fast as they could. pigeon buster
the 22-250 is a tikka t3 and the rimfire is a CZ classic. vim- i know you have some very nice guns what make, caliber are they?
vim
As you have probably seen i have a Tikka t3 centrefire like yours and i can honestly say i enjoy the feel of the gun. Though i did have a few problems at first with it. But after returning the gun 4 time`s for ajustments its finaly how i want it. I too also owned a CZ varmint with a serverly chopped down barrel which i killed some stuff with. I liked the gun but sold it in favor of a Anshutz and again to be honest it was a mistake. I cannot get use to the Anshutz i just cant get or shoot comfortable with it for some reason?? Though i shall bear with it for the forseable future but a Sako Varmint is tempting Its make`s a refreshing change to reply to some one that walks the walk Buster
pigeon buster
nice bag of rabbits there. and a very nice stock is it custom? i suppose the clamp on the scope is for a lamp or laser? the fields round your way must be full of rabbits do you own the shooting land or do you have permission
vim
Its just a standard thumhole jobby that come`s with the Anshutz. Nice to look at though and thats it for me.Im more into working ability than looks. The plastic clamp on the scope thats for the lamp push on and off type of thing quite versatile. This way you can use the lamp as a hand held for spoting or running the dog with. Our very own Pete Evans who posts on here sorted me with some spare velcro patchs which i placed of the back of the lamp to mount the switch. Not many rabbits around this way though but what i do have access to is just permision off the odd farmer.

Pike
Glad there are plenty of us out there giving the foxes a bashing. Went out last night and got three dogs and a vixen, out tonight then up early for a day on the pigeons.
vim
I dont belive you Pikeboy about the foxes.. Its your lack of thought and communication from your wording in your post that make`s me a little suspect?? Oh and of course you show no respect to buster for buting in on his excelent posting about his very own outing
