Fat Dog
Hi TD. I believe it is still the case that a one on one off for anything other than a shotgun has to be processed as a variation at HQ. Fee is still £10 for this type of variation. Glad to hear the HW has arrived.
markbivvy
a variation is either free or £26. and you will need authority to possess. in the uk by the way. Edited October 29, 2008 by markbivvy
Fat Dog
a variation is either free or £26.and you will need authority to possess. in the uk by the way. Quote from the PSNI website. "In cases where the variation involves the substitution of a firearm for one of a similar calibre or type the fee payable is £10.00p, all other variation transactions invoke a fee of £26.00. A variation to the certificate can be made at the time of re-grant without any additional charge to the re-grant fee. Any changes to the amount of ammunition authorised also require a variation application" Northern Ireland, UK
tweedledee
thought that was the case,i was going to put on a 22 springer for the odd rat but i think when i renew in the new year would be a better time. think i`ll put in for q 223 then as well. work would need to pick up a little though. things are bleak looking at the moment

Brisa
Good news is they seem to have pulled thier finger out. 3 weeks to the day for a variation for getting a shotgun on my books. Surely a one on one off should take less time?
