mr lee
Guys, I signed up to WSF forums last week and there is a huge post on there about a serial scammer..(no not rice krispies..) who is constantly selling gear to fishermen which he doesn't have. The guy has multiple accounts on a well known auction site and uses classifieds ads on forums to sell stuff. It never turns up. http://www.worldseafishing.com/forums/show...ad.php?t=141005 He sells anything from shockleader to boats. One boat he 'has' he has sold at least 4 times over... Goes by lots of usernames. After reading some of the horror stories on there dating back to 2003 he must have had well over £100k's worth of scamming. Normally I wouldn't link to another forum but felt it was needed in this case so no one on here got scammed by him. Mods, sorry if this isn't allowed but just wanted to give those of us who work hard for what we have knowledge of a genuine fraudster. He has served time also for this very same thing previously and openly admits in in some of the links. Be careful when buying your gear. Cranfield
I think this is a timely warning for all Buyers to be very careful who you are buying from. As things get tighter economically, more of these scumbags will come out of the woodwork and sometimes the urge to get a bargain can overcome our natural caution. "Buyer beware" was never more appropriate.
