Rabbit_Ryan
I think most of you will go for the lightning or any others around the price of these springers. Will them two take out a rabbit or pigeon cleanly? Thanks Ryan
lowlander
aren't the bsa xl tactical and the lightning xl the same gun but yes i think that they would cleanly take down a rabbit or pigeon up to about 35 yards- 40 yards
Rabbit_Ryan
well yeah they are kinda the same gun what bout hw97k,god its freezing outside, snowed today and just did a bit of plinking in the field
Jim145
I really like my Lightning XL, and provided you do your bit, its more than capable of rabbits and pigeons out to 30 yards. However if you can cope with the extra weight and expence the 97k is a better gun - as is a TX200.
Rabbit_Ryan
tx200 looks nice but i think the lightning xl would be cheaper?
daz2202
lightning is great for rabbits and pigeon up to 40yrds. only downside is the crack noise from the spring. but for the money it is a great buy
BSA-airgunner
lightning xl got both 177 and 22 so has my shoot buddy.there great for everything plinking to hunting...last week we were out and set up a couple of tagets at one of our shoots.a 10 pence at 40 strides free standing took about 5 shots but i got it with the 22........... porter
The XL is a improved version of the lightning and is the best of bsa's springers. I'd go for the XL without a second thought!
